THE COMPANY
Maiden Voyage aims to evolve the practice and performance of contemporary dance across Northern Ireland. Established in 202 by dancer and artistic director, Nicola Curry, Maiden Voyage has produced a reputation for producing engaging and challenging work.

THE WORK
Based in Belfast, Maiden Voyage works with local, national and international artists and has commissioned new work from choreographers as diverse as Liz Roche, Jodi Melnick, Juha Pekka Marsalo, Dylan Quinn, Suzannah McCreight  and Omar Gordon.  Collaborators include composers Neil Martin, Andy Garbi, Denis Roche, John Gromoda, Dan Levy, Jules Maxwell and Brian Irvine.

Alongside producing and touring new work the company deliver a range of professional development opportunities for professionals across the region. Maiden Voyage initiative and host a diverse range of educational and outreach activities to encourage participation in dance.
