

Dance Exposed 2011 comprises a series of portable dance products that are created to feed into a city's cultural life. Inspired by the need to increase the profile of dance amongst a wider audience, Dance Exposed involves the commission of two dance pieces. These adaptable performances can take place in public streets, shopping centres, parks and other public spaces.

Description: This piece of physical and intimate dance theatre piece looks at a very private argument in a very public space. A couple, in the middle of an disagreement, struggle to deal with being in the company of strangers and two friends trying to have their say.

Dance Exposed 2011 was principally funded by the National Lottery through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. The programme premiered at the Ulster Bank Belfast Festival at Queen's in the Ulster Museum October 2011.
