Dance Exposed takes to the streets - and Ulster Museum!
Two of our new portable commissions, Dance Exposed, are now ready! Entitled Bubblegum and Dream A Little Dream, they will premier in the Ulster Museum on 23/24 Oct as part of the Belfast Festival at Queen's. Admission is free. Professional Development Events
Dancelab, in association with the MAC, re-launched last week with a 3-day course in GAGA technique - the movement method of Ohad Naharin of Batseva Dance company in Israel.

Wendy Houstoun physical theatre intensive 28/29 Oct. Committed to experimental movement and text, Wendy's work challenges preconceptions and communcates about contemporary culture. Workshop will be of interest to physically-based performers.

Prodance classes resume on a Wednesday 6.30-8pm in Dance Resource Base Studio with company dancers and guest tutors. All dancers welcome.

Somatics class starts 5 Sept for a five week course. £30/£25 (conc for DRB/DI members). New to Belfast, Somatic Movement is a system of neuromuscular education that allows more ease and freedom of movement and helps with the release of pain resulting from injury, stress, repetitive strain or habituated posteurs. Exercises are simple, slow movements done comfortably on the floor. Please bring a mat with you and wear comfortable clothing.

Out Of The Shadows
Our dance, film and music project for older people with disabilities, held in partnership with Open Arts, is entering its next phase as participating groups have recently completed short dances filmed in Belfast city locations.

Breakitdown
Our introduction to Street Dance programme returns in Nov giving participants the chance to learn street dancing skills and teaching methods to deliver a programme in their own community.
