Match Make 2025 : Selected Artist Collaborations

Maiden Voyage Dance is delighted to announce the recipients of the Match Make opportunity for Dance artists based in the Derry City & Strabane District Council area, supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

Match Make supports dance artists to form new creative partnerships, encouraging collaboration across disciplines and inviting fresh ways of making and sharing dance with communities. This year’s programme brings together an exciting group of artists whose collaborations span film, puppetry, voice and movement, reflecting the richness and diversity of contemporary practice.

We are pleased to introduce the selected Match Make collaborations:

• Dance artist Ayesha Mailey, collaborating with filmmaker Colin Norrby

• Dance artist Zoë Ramsey, collaborating with puppeteer Karen Torley

• Dance artist Kelly Quigley, collaborating with voice artist Amanda Koser

• Dance artist Maíre Morrison, collaborating with dancer Sarah Flavelle

The selected partnerships demonstrate a strong commitment to collaboration, curiosity and place-responsive practice, reflecting the programme’s aim to nurture new creative relationships within the local dance landscape. Each pairing will be supported to explore a shared creative enquiry, developing new work through experimentation, dialogue and artistic exchange.
