LOOP Schools Performance & Workshop Offer
Bring Dance into Your School: Free Performance & Workshop Offer
Maiden Voyage Dance is delighted to offer schools the opportunity to experience LOOP — a vibrant, playful contemporary dance performance designed to spark imagination, creativity and connection.
About LOOP
LOOP is performed by three dancers who create a shared world through movement, trust and play. As the piece unfolds, patterns are formed, repeated, broken and reimagined reflecting how we connect with one another.
Through rhythm, repetition and shared movement, the dancers build a sense of teamwork, curiosity and belonging. The work celebrates the joy of moving together and invites audiences to notice how relationships shift and grow through listening, responding and collaborating.
Workshop Experience
Alongside seeing the performance, pupils are invited to take part in a fun, inclusive movement workshop.
The workshop explores themes from LOOP, including:
Working together through play
Listening and responding
Building patterns through movement
Trust and cooperation
Using simple, accessible exercises, pupils will create their own movement sequences, working individually and as a group. No previous dance experience is needed — the focus is on participation, creativity and enjoyment.
